3-Day Ha Giang Loop Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Ha Giang City – Bac Sum Pass – Quan Ba Heaven Gate – Twin Mountain – Yen Minh – Tham Ma Road – H’mong King Palace – Dong Van Town

Your adventure begins at 8:30 AM, as we pick you up from your hotel or the bus station in Ha Giang City. With our skilled drivers and knowledgeable guides ensuring your safety and comfort, you’ll witness the breathtaking transformation of the landscape as we ascend the mountain roads.

Our first stop is Bac Sum Slope, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink and soak in the views. From there, we head to Quan Ba Heaven Gate for panoramic vistas of the region, including the iconic Twin Mountains. Continuing through the Dong Van Karst Geopark, you’ll marvel at terraced rice fields, limestone formations, and hidden villages nestled in the valleys.

After a delicious lunch in Yen Minh Town, we’ll visit Tham Ma Road and the historic H’mong King Palace, a significant cultural site of the Vuong family. Arriving in Dong Van Town in the evening, you’ll settle into a cozy homestay and enjoy a traditional dinner.

Day 2: Dong Van Town – Volunteer Youth Monument – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River – Meo Vac – Du Gia Village

The second day takes you through some of the most spectacular landscapes in Vietnam. We’ll travel along the Happiness Road, connecting Dong Van to Meo Vac, and ascend to the Ma Pi Leng Pass, standing at 2,000 meters above sea level. This awe-inspiring mountain pass offers panoramic views of dramatic cliffs, winding roads, and the serene Nho Que River below.

You’ll have the chance to walk the Sky Path for even more stunning vistas and capture unforgettable photos. From there, we’ll explore remote villages like Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Meo Vac, where you’ll experience the unique lifestyles of the local ethnic groups.

After a delicious lunch in Meo Vac, we’ll continue our journey along rugged mountain trails to reach Du Gia Village, a hidden gem surrounded by natural beauty. Spend the night with a Tay Minority family at a homestay, enjoying a traditional dinner and sharing stories over a cup of "happy water."

Day 3: Du Gia Village – Du Gia Waterfall – Bac Me – Ha Giang City – Hanoi

The final day begins with breakfast at the homestay before visiting the serene Du Gia Waterfall, a perfect spot to relax and reflect on your journey. Saying farewell to your warm hosts, we begin the scenic ride back to Ha Giang City.

Passing through Quan Ba Town and Bac Me, the stunning landscapes will continue to captivate you. As we cross the Sky Gate and Bac Sum Pass, you’ll have one last chance to admire the region’s natural beauty before arriving in Ha Giang in the afternoon.
