In this 1 day option, you will experience some incredible sights, including spectacular mountain views, breathtaking rice terraces, and the stunning Muong Hoa Valley view. An experienced local Black Hmong tour guide will be at your disposal to introduce you to the villages of the Black Hmong and Dzay ethnic minority groups. You will learn all about their culture, arts and crafts as well as having the opportunity to sample some of their delicious cuisine.

  • Starting off the day, you will visit the local minority village of the Black Hmong and Dzay. You will walk through its lush and verdant rice paddies, Y Linh Ho Hmong Village, Lao Chai Hmong village , and Tan Van Village; home of the Dzay ethnic minority group.

  • At 09:00 am you will be picked up at your hotel and begin your journey along an easy path to Y Linh Ho Village. Along this winding path you will be able to observe some of the most stunning mountain views in Southeast Asia as you traverse vibrant green rice terraced fields. 

​

  • By 12:00 pm you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at a Local house or restaurant where you can not only sample some of the unique flavors of the region but also take in breathtaking views across the terraced fields.

  • Afterwards, you’ll make your way to Lao Chai Village for a further exploration of these majestic landscapes. Here, you’ll have an opportunity to meet with some members of this vibrant community as they go about their daily lives amongst these terraces that are a part of their heritage and culture. 

​

  • Finally, we’ll end our tour trekking down to Tan Van Village; home of the Dzay. Here, we’ll have another chance to immerse ourselves in this welcoming environment surrounded by nature's beauty surrounding us! 

​

  • By 03:00 pm we'll have come full circle on our tour, and we'll be picked up by car or motorbike and transferred back to your hotel where it all began!

Tour includes:

  • Transport back to Sapa after the end of the trek

  • Sturdy walking boots or shoes

Pick Up 

  • From your hotel in Sapa, at Sapa bus station, at Lao Cai train station or in front of Sapa Church 

Drop-Off 

  • At your hotel in Sapa, at the Sapa center or at the train station in Lao Cai city

Important note:

  • If you have a hotel in Sapa, We highly recommend you to leave your luggage there, if you don't have a hotel in Sapa you can leave your luggage with us once we meet you at Sapa Church at 9 AM.
